Do You Eat Dairy To Get Calcium, Or Take Calcium Supplements?
Andrea Cox
High calcium may actually harm long term bone health, and some of the lowest rates of osteoporosis are in countries with the lowest calcium intake! So no, I don't worry about calcium. I get lots of exercise and sunshine. Two references: - Klopmaker 2005, Med Hypotheses - physicians committee for responsible medicine website

Try weight lifting for women. They don't have to be heavy, but it will increase bone density. An added benefit, it builds muscle which burns fat!

My calcium sources are all plant based. Adding weight bearing exercise and some sunshine (with my super spf) are important to my continued bone health.

I eat food for my nutrients and take no supplements. If you choose natural foods and avoid processed foods, you will get what you need. Add some exercise and sunshine to help and make you happy.
