What Healthy Choices Do You Make At Steak Houses?
Joshua Fegley
If you're going to a steak house freaking live it up. You're not eating like that every day. Have some red wine and tell yourself it's heart healthy to pretend you're doing something good while you're enjoying a damn fine meal.

Steak. Duh! It's s STEAK house, not a flipping tofu house, people. Enjoy it in moderation.

When ordering side dishes, opt for the steamed vegetable variety and stay away from sauces and condiments on your steak.

I order what I want. But I pay attention to when I'm full. Which means not rushing. Enjoying the meal. That it's not necessary to eat the entire steak or loaded sweet potato. When I'm full, I stop. Fried foods don't come home with me. Not just because they aren't the healthiest on the plate but because they never taste the same when reheated. A doggy bag, is a treat for another day.

if you must order a steak, get a filet and cut it in half then add grilled veggies and side salad..

Have a good steak dinner for special occasions. and order salad dressing on the side. Eat until you are full and take the rest home for lunch the next day.

Have a salad, eat steak, with plenty of veggies. Don't worry about saturated fats. Skip the bread, sweets, and all the carbs.

Buy grass fed beef from a farmer near you. It's healthier and cost less. (cows are vegetarians, its the grain they fatten them up wirh before processing that gives them the bad cholesterol.)

Dressing on the side, and eat only half your meal and take the rest home for later.

I drink plenty of beer to wash down that meat
