Ok I'm confused. One question says untreated it can spread to bones and other parts of the body and the last question says it will not spread. What is it? And what kind of quiz has two questions and 7 bonus questions?

I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, ( on my ankle of all places) two years ago. I live in the Seattle area and as you may know, is notorious for constant cloud coverage! Don't be fooled that if you wear sunscreen and stay in the shade, you aren't at risk. I was shocked that what I thought was simply a cut that wouldn't heal...ended up to be cancer. My tip is that you should never assume what you're doing is enough!

I have had basal cell carcinoma. I wear sunscreen if out for more than 20 minutes, but I am under doctor's orders to get 20 minutes of unprotected sun exposure per day due to a vitamin D deficiency. I have an annual full body inspection by a dermatologist.

Broad spectrum SPF 30-35. SPF refers to UVB protection. UVA rays cause photo aging & cancer, also. It's best to stay in a range of 35 otherwise ingredients can become unstable for UVA protection... The advice to stay in the shade in both the quiz & in tips is simply not accurate and misleading...UVA & UVB rays still penetrate in the shade.
